Rudraksha - An Introduction

Rudraksha is the divine power blessed with auspicious energies of Lord Shiva. We get the details about Rudraksha in number of “Granthas” and “Shastras” (the holy books of Indian Mythology). There are various stories about the origin of Rudraksha. Rudraksha is believed to have the direct blessings of Lord Shiva, which contains the properties to remove the affects of sins of the wearer. It is even said that if one wears the Rudraksha (in any form) on his body, even without worshiping or energizing it, does not get near any sinful act or thought.

Precautions to wear Rudraksha

 

• Rudraksha should never be disrespected in any way else it will not give its desired benefits.
• Rudraksha should not be worn while attending a funeral
• Rudraksha should be removed before sleeping if the person is going to copulate with the partner. It can be worn again next morning after taking bath.
• Rudraksha should not be worn while having non veg food and alcoholic products.
• One should wear a Rudraksha which has been energized with mantras to get full benefit.
• It should not be worn during the menstrual periods.
• It should not be worn when visiting a new born baby.
• Rudraksha should always be kept cleaned. After regular cleaning with the help of soft bristles, it should be oiled especially when not using it for sometime or storing it for a while.
• Rudraksha should be worn around the neck in a thread, silver or gold.
• After cleaning wash the bead with ganga jal that helps maintain its sanctity.
• Rudraksha should not be cleaned with chemicals, soaps or shampoos which reduce its life.
• Avoid wearing Rudraksha while taking bath to keep it away from soap and chemicals.

Types of Rudraksh

There are 21 different types of Rudraksh available. Every Rudraksh has a Mantra to energize it. Each type of Rudraksh is differentiated by the 'Mukh' or face and named in the same way. For example the Rudraksh with one face is called 'Ek Mukhi' Rudraksh and so on. 

Rudraksha has tremendous powers in it which can cure many diseases and troubles in life. I will give more details about different kinds of Rudrakshas and their powers and benefits one by one in my future posts.

Gauri Shankar Rudraksha

Gauri Shankar Rudraksha is two rudrakshas naturally joined with each other with both the rudrakshas of equal size. One rudraksha represents Lord Shankar and the other represents Goddess Parvati. It is an effective rudraksha for marriage related problems like delayed marriage or marital disputes. It brings happiness and harmony in relations. It is also beneficial in love relationships. 

Benefits: This rudraksha is beneficial when the marriage is getting delayed due to any reason. It is also used to maintain harmonious relations between husband and wife. It would be better if both husband and wife wear the rudraksha. Couples who have not yet got married and are engaged in love relationships may also wear this rudraksha. It helps to strengthen the bond of love between the two.

Who Should Use it: Those 

• who are facing conflicts in their marital life. 
• who are waiting for a suitable match to get married. 
• who are in love relationships and would like to avoid unnecessary arguments with their partner and also strengthen the bond between themselves.

How to Use it: On any Monday or monthly shivratri,

• Rinse the Bead(s) of Rudraksha in water of Ganga

• Apply the sandal wood paste/tilak on it. 

• Lit insane and the lamp of Ghee.

• Offer some white flowers to the Rudraksha.

• Chant Panchakshari Mantra (given below) for 11 times.

• Touch the bead with shivling and wear the rudraksha. 

Panchakshari Mantra:

ॐ नमः शिवाये 
Om Namaha Shivaaye 

इस पोस्ट में मैं गौरी शंकर रुद्राक्ष के बारे में लिखने जा रहा हूँ । गौरी शंकर रुद्राक्ष में दो रुद्राक्ष एक दूसरे से प्राकृतिक रूप से जुड़े हुए होते हैं ।  ये दोनों रुद्राक्ष समान रूप से बड़े होते हैं । इनमे से एक रुद्राक्ष शंकर और दूसरा पार्वती का रूप माना जाता है । यह रुद्राक्ष वैवाहिक समस्याओं में और विवाह में देरी होने जैसी समस्याओं में बहुत फायदा करता है । यह प्रेम संबंधों को और प्रगाढ़ बनाने में भी सहायता करता है । 

पहनने का फायदा: इस रुद्राक्ष को पहनने से अगर विवाह में अनावश्यक देरी हो रही हो तो उसमे फायदा होता है और विवाह जल्दी होने की संभावनाएं बनती हैं । यह रुद्राक्ष पति पत्नी के संबंधों को मधुर बनाने में सहायता करता है । इसे अगर पति और पत्नी दोनों पहने तो और भी अच्छा होगा । प्रेम सम्बन्ध प्रगाढ़ बनाने में भी यह सहायता करता है ।   

कौन पहने: ऐसे लोग :

• जिनके वैवाहिक जीवन में तनाव चल रहा है । 
• जो विवाह के लिए एक उपयुक्त वर या वधु की तलाश में हैं 
• जिनका प्रेम सम्बन्ध चल रहा है और जो अपने प्रेम संबंधों में तनाव नहीं आने देना चाहते और इसे और मज़बूत करना चाहते हैं ।

पहनने की विधि: किसी भी सोमवार को या फिर मासिक शिवरात्रि को 

•     रुद्राक्ष को गंगाजल में धो ले

•     इसके ऊपर चन्दन का तिलक लगाएं

•     धुप और अगरबत्ती दिखाएँ

•     सफ़ेद रंग के फूल रुद्राक्ष को ऊपर चढ़ाएं

•     रुद्राक्ष को दायें हाथ में लेकर ऊपर दिए हुए पंचाक्षरी मंत्र को 11 बार बोलें 

•     रुद्राक्ष को शिवलिंग से छुआएं और रुद्राक्ष को पहन लें ।
